Our Dedicated Hosting and Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) pricing is billed on a monthly basis (720 hours) based on the actual usage of your account. Shared Hosting plans start at 2GB and are billed for the highest usage that month. Invoices are sent on a monthly basis and automatically charged through your provided credit or debit card.

These plans all include our entire suite of database management, monitoring and maintenance features, and scale dynamically so you never overpay for prematurely scaling your account. The instance types displayed on our pricing pages are common plans used by our customers, but you can host any on-demand plan through our supported cloud providers for your database, and use an unlimited capacity of Reserved Instances for our Bring Your Own Cloud plans.

Bring Your Own Cloud

Our Bring Your Own Cloud plans are for MongoDB, Redis™*, MySQL, and PostgreSQL management only and connect directly to your own AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP account, so they do not include your cloud hosting costs. These plans allow you to leverage AWS Reserved Instances, Azure Reserved Instances and GCP Comitted Use Discounts, so you can save up to 75% on long-term hosting costs. The Bring Your Own Cloud plans are also great for startup companies because you can leverage your free startup hosting credits.

ScaleGrid is the only Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) company that lets you host in your own cloud account, compared to our competitors who require you to host through their dedicated and shared plans. Dedicated Hosting

Our Dedicated Hosting plans include 100% of your network, disk and machine costs. They include 5 free backups per deployment, with additional backups available for a fee. In our Dedicated Hosting plans, you host your clusters through our dedicated virtual machines with AWS, Azure, GCP, Linode, DigitalOcean and OCI. These plans use On-Demand instances, so you're never locked into a long-term contract with us or your cloud provider.
